Dear friends and soccer fans,

The supreme European club soccer competition, UEFA Champions League will be crowning its 2011 winner on Saturday, May 28th, 2011: the final will oppose Manchester United and FC Barcelona in London, on the famous “Wembley” stadium.

Let’s watch this game together at “The Point” Pub in Boston between 2PM and 5PM in a traditional Romanian atmosphere – with Romanian sausages (“mici”) and a large variety of appetizers. As some of you may remember, 120 of us have watched the 2010 Soccer World Cup Final together at this same location in July last year (photo).

Where: “The Point” Pub, at 147 Hanover St. Boston, MA (next to Faneuil Hall)

Parking: Affordable and convenient, just across the street at Parcel 7 Garage (About $3 for 3 hours, with validation)

Admission: is free, and a $10 donation from non-members of AR-NE is encouraged and will be gratefully accepted, to cover the expenses of this event and future AR-NE activities. Better yet, we would like to invite non-members to join AR-NE on our website for an annual membership fee of $10/ $25/ $50 for students and retirees / individual / family. You may also join on this event’s day by submitting a short enrolment form and payment.
