The first informational AR-NE seminar of 2011 took place on Wednesday, the 26th of January. Many thanks to The Mathworks, Inc. who made available to us a conference room at their Natick, MA campus, the invited speakers from IT Six Global Services who took time out of their busy schedule, and the participants who braved the winter storm to attend the seminar.
The two representatives from IT Six, Sorin Gavanescu – CEO and Dan Tusaliu – Director of Business Development, were in Boston for their Road Show USA business trip and kindly agreed to give a presentation on IT Outsourcing to Romania.
IT Six is a medium sized global service company with approximately 90 employees mainly in Romania (Craiova and Bucharest), but also in Phoenix AZ, Rotterdam Holland, Stockholm Sweden, and Rosenheim Germany. IT Six is also a founding member of RomaniaIT, a public-private initiative set up in 2006 by a group of stakeholders that included ministries, industry associations and companies interested in promoting the national IT industry abroad.
The two hour long presentation was of excellent quality, as evidenced by the positive feedback received from participants. Participants were particularly impressed by the interactive nature of the presentation, the elegant and efficient answers given by the presenters to difficult questions and scenarios, and the objectivity and professionalism with which the presenters treated the topic.
